Why do we like the Nintendo Wii?
First it's the best value in it's price range, and as Nintendo says themselves

We were surprised and delighted to see not only the children of our reviewers asking for the Wii this Christmas but our reviewers themselves, who are still playing games on the Nintendo Wii daily.
Our reviewers have been happy to report that not only is it a great way to spend time with the family, it also keeps the player or players moving which translates to a more rewarding experience. This coupled with new game content, and even exercise programs based on the Wii platform, it is changing the way people play console based video games. Not only is the Nintendo Wii fun to play it is also innovative.
In addition we are very impressed with the construction of the Wii, as the controllers are meant to be physically moved during game play rather than the old method of pushing buttons using the thumbs and index fingers only.
We feel the Nintendo Wii is the least likely console to result in our readers having buyers remorse in 2008.
